Check to see if you are eligible for the Regular Skilled Worker Program. The following employability factors will be taken into account:
  • your schooling (your level of education and area of training)
  • your work experience
  • your age
  • your knowledge of French and English
  • your stays in Québec and family relationship with a Canadian citizen or a permanent Québec resident

  • characteristics regarding your accompanying spouse or common-law spouse, if applicable
  • other factors that will be taken into account: the number of children under the age of 19 who will be accompanying you to Québec
  • your capacity for financial self-sufficiency (you must sign a contract confirming your commitment to provide for your needs and your family’s needs for at least the first three months following your arrival in Québec).

Submit an official immigration application under Mon projet Québec

If you submitted an application in print format before December 31, you do not use the Mon projet Québec application. If you wish to request a change to your application or to that of your spouse, you must complete the form Change to an application for a selection certificate (Dynamic PDF, 81 Kb) and return it to us, by mail, with the required documents within 30 days of the change.

Submit an application for permanent residence to the Government of Canada.

The Government of Canada has jurisdiction over the final admission of applicants. After obtaining your Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate), you must submit an application for permanent residence (visa) as a skilled worker selected by Québec to the Centralized Intake Office in Canada, in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The Government of Canada will evaluate your medical records and those of your family members, and conduct a security check.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a permanent residence visa by the Government of Canada.
